.... a little girl lived in Brooklyn.
She grew up like many little girls did, dancing her little heart out and dreaming of commanding the stage one day.
She danced and danced until she was a teenager and suddenly the stage she had always dreamed of seemed small and meager. The girl wondered how she could really make a difference in the world just prancing around a raised platform. Still she continued, but her commitment waned. She started to read more and study more and took different jobs to learn more.
Each job added something to her toolbox. Her dancing days (rife with injuries) taught her respect for the body. Her moonlighting law firm jobs trained her in research and organization. Her restaurant jobs educated her in the fine art of multi-tasking.
A vision began to take shape in the mind of the girl, now a young woman. Inspired by the diversity of her past, she took a certificate and then a degree and finally a license. Armed with information and excitement, a business was born.
And because the girl had trouble resting on her laurels, as it were, she continued to work really hard. She raised a family. She created all kinds of products. And launched a million ideas. Admittedly, some better than others.
It was a full and busy life.
A real life.
